Set a thousand years after the tearful finale that left audiences spellbound, Merlin is still waiting for Arthur’s rise. When indeed Arthur does return again, Merlin becomes confused - there is no great threat to the planet which could’ve called him back. Matters are made worse when an enraged Arthur doesn’t understand why he has returned, or why his beloved kingdom has been overrun by such a technological age. Their quest of self discovery brings them unexpected love - and the darkest hour before the dawning of a new Albion.
