The Big Bad Wolf Never Looked So Good |
Name's Rachel-Jane, and I live in the remote area of Canadaland.
Funnily enough, I'm British (or at least most people think it's funny. Why? I'm not quite sure.) And I love Supernatural, Doctor Who, Glee, Merlin, etc.
I post Wincest, J2, Kinn, Monfer, Sterek, Merthur and Brolin, so if you don't like those pairings just ignore them, cause I still have Doctor Who! (Which I'm pretty sure is mostly hetero....)

There was a plan, Bradley thinks. Really, there was. The only flaw in said plan was that Colin Morgan hadn’t been a part of it.
Bradley had just wanted to get through University, maybe have a couple of flings here and there, get his business degree, and start work. That had been the plan, no matter how rudimentary it was.
And then Bradley had met ‘Precious Morgan’ as Katie called him. And, Bradley had to admit, he was precious. Not to mention awkward in the most adorable sense and extremely tiny. Coincidentally, he was also too smart for his own good, and too curious to keep to his own business. Which is how Bradley ended up giving up on his business degree in favor of the more interesting, yet far less practical, dramatic arts degree.
His father had been pissed, he remembers, but Bradley hadn’t cared, because Colin had been so proud of him and given him a surprisingly bone-crushing hug.
Bradley can’t remember how they’d ended up living together, but the point was that they had. And sometime after that, they’d ended up in bed together.
There’d been a plan. Really, there had, Bradley thinks ruefully, lying in bed with an adorable, sleeping Colin. He fingers the gold band on his ring finger, a matching one glinting at him from the pillow where Colin rests his hand. Bradley smiles softly, and thinks that he’s rather glad it all went horribly awry.
Merlin really didn’t understand his mother sometimes.
“I’m sorry. What?” he asked into the receiver. Hunith just sighed, as if dealing with a child and not the twenty three year old that Merlin was.
“Your cousin Elena is coming to stay with you,” she said for the second time. “And don’t tell me you have no room. You told me the other day that Will had finally moved out.”
“But,” Merlin stuttered. “But I don’t even know her! For all I know, she could be in a cult, or a prostitute or a drug dealer!” He waved his hands around for effect, but remembered that his mother couldn’t in fact see him, and dropped his arm to his side. “What if she brings all that into my life and I become an addict! Do you want me to be addicted Mum?”
Gwen gave him a look as she walked in the door. He just shook his head.
“And what about Gwen?” he asked, after his mother stopped laughing on the other line. “She could lure sweet, innocent Gwen into her prostitution ring and-”
“You do speak a lot of rubbish don’t you?” his mum laughed. “She’s a sweet girl, Merlin! Calm down. She’s just… in need of a little guidance.” She hesitated. “Stability, if you will! You’d be good for her!”
Gwen mouthed a confused, “Who is it?” and he replied with a silent, “Mum.”
“And she’s already on her way.”
“What?!”
“Don’t shout dear,” Hunith chided. “She should be there in… well around now actually.”
“Mum!”
“Don’t worry darling!” she answered, and Merlin could practically hear the smile in her voice. “You’ll be fine! Have fun!”
He would have complained and bitched some more, if it weren’t for the fact this his mother decided then to hang up on him. So instead, he glared at the phone while chucking it to the other side of the sofa, and swore under his breath.
“So what was that about her ‘luring me into a prostitution ring’?” Gwen asked from the breakfast bar, clearly amused.
“We’re getting a new roommate,” he sighed dejectedly.
nochoiceabouttheembracemerlin asked: Merthur first time Arthur tells Merlin he has feelings for him
It hadn’t been all that romantic. Because Arthur wasn’t the romantic type.
“Merlin! Merlin wait!” Merlin sighed, trying to leave the room as fast as he could. He was sick of this. “I said wait!” Arthur cried, grabbing hold of Merlin’s elbow. “Geeze, what’s wrong with you?”
“Me?!” Merlin yelled, whirling around to look at Arthur. “What’s wrong with you?!”
Merlin could see him biting the inside of his cheek. “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Arthur answered flippantly. He looked nervous.
“What I mean,” Merlin countered. “Is I can’t show any interest in a guy without you practically sneering, at them!” He pulled his arm out of Arthur’s grasp and crossed them in front of his chest. “Look, I understand you don’t like my sort-”
“What?” Arthur looked perplexed. “Your sort?”
“Yes!” Merlin threw his hands up in the air. “My sort! I get that you’re not gay but you don’t have to be such an ass about me being gay!”
Arthur spluttered. “What?! That’s- That’s not what this is about!”
“Oh really? ‘Cause it seems that way to me,” Merlin scowled. “And I’m sick of it.” He turned toward the door and started walking out. “Maybe when you’re done being an ass-”
He was cut off by a very hard tug on his jacket that brought him staggering back into Arthur. Merlin turned around to glare at him, but was met, instead, with a pair of warm, soft lips against his own.
“You’re an idiot,” Arthur breathed when they parted. “You’re a bloody idiot. I thought for sure you knew. But of course not. That’s obviously asking too much.” Merlin just glared and pulled him down into another kiss.
ipeelyoubronana-deactivated2011 asked: Wincest. First kiss. herherhehreherehh.
Their first kiss had been innocent. Not because they themselves had been innocent, or young, because that’s not how their father had raised them. They’d had to grow up to fast, and learn to fend for themselves. So no. They weren’t innocent, and they weren’t young.
But Sam had been scared.
Dean sighed, sitting next to his little brother on the bed, taking the gun away from him.
“I… the closet,” Sammy had sniffed, at a loss for words. “I was just… scared of the thing in my closet.” Dean hated his dad for this. Sammy was only four for Christ’s sake.
“I know,” Dean answered, lifting his feet up on the bed and sitting up against the headboard. “Don’t worry Sammy. I’ll keep you safe.”
Sam had shot him a watery smile and kissed him quickly before lying down to sleep.
Dean was still sitting there, shocked when their dad came to check in on them.

Merlin sighed as he walked up the stairs to see what Arthur and their little Anna had gotten up to. Merlin had sent Arthur up ages ago to put her to bed, and he still hadn’t come back down to help tidy up.
He paused at the top of the stairs. It was too quiet.
Merlin cautiously tiptoed to the bedroom door and peeked in.
There was Arthur, manly, macho Arthur Pendragon, curled up in a princess bed with little Anna at his side, both of them fast asleep.
Merlin loved seeing them like this. Loved seeing how much of a softie Arthur was when faced with a little girl. His little girl. Their little girl.
He just smiled fondly and crept slowly in to join them.
Anonymous asked: Merthur wedding
Arthur was nervous. Completely, and wholly nervous. He knew people were expected to get nervous on their wedding day, but this was just ridiculous!
This was supposed to be the happiest day of his life, and he couldn’t even get through the nervousness to enjoy it. He was nervous about everything. How he looked, that he would make a fool of himself, everything. But what he was most nervous about, was that his fiancee, his entire world, his Merlin, would realize that this wasn’t a good idea. Realize he wasn’t a good idea.
He nearly jumped out of his skin at the soft knock on the door, and called out a shaky, ‘Come in!’
Arthur turned around to see Merlin, his gorgeous Merlin, slip through the door, and felt himself smiling despite the nervous flutter in his stomach. Merlin closed the door quietly and turned to Arthur.
“Hi,” he softly smiled up at Arthur, walking over and wrapping his arms around the blonde’s neck. Arthur’s smile widened, and he placed his hands on the skinny waist and pulled Merlin flush against him.
“You do know,” Arthur murmured, trailing his lips against those sharp cheekbones. “We’re not supposed to see each other before the wedding.”
“I know,” Merlin smiled, pulling back and placing a soft kiss on Arthur’s lips. “I just wanted to tell you something.”
“And what’s that?” Arthur asked, smile slipping slowly off his face. This was it. His world was going to up and walk away.
Merlin just smiled serenely and held Arthur close, whispering softly into his ear, “I can’t wait to marry you.”
oddthingsinthedark asked: Merthur in the supermarket.
“No, Arthur,” Merlin said, stubbornly turning away from the over-excited blonde.
“But Merlin,” Arthur answered, trying to catch his boyfriends eye again. “They’re delicious!”
Merlin took one look at Arthur’s pout (and yes. It was a pout, no matter what Arthur said), and sighed, “Fine. But keep those pork rinds away from the normal food in the apartment.”
Arthur smiled and planted a kiss on Merlin’s cheek before practically prancing away with the bag of Pork Rinds, leaving Merlin and a good many other customers staring in awe.
Summary: Only one nightmare has ever truly frightened Arthur. Only one’s woken him up sweating, crying. The one where Merlin dies.

If Arthur looks back at it, he realizes what went wrong. What he did wrong. What he should have done differently. What he could have done differently.
He should have kissed him. Told him he was sorry.
He should have held him close.
He should have told him he loved him.
That would have stopped all of this.
And even if he hadn’t, he could have called him back. Said his name. Tried to work it out.
But he hadn’t.
He’d been stupid. If he’d just kept him there, just kept him in the apartment, kept him from leaving, kept him from walking out in front of that…
He knew it was all his fault. This entire mess was because of him.
It was his fault Merlin got angry. His fault for letting it escalate. His fault for yelling back. His fault for pushing Merlin away. His fault for letting him walk out angry, when he wouldn’t pay half as much attention as he usually did to the traffic.
It was his fault Merlin got hit by a car.
His fault he was in a coma.
And he could have done so much before. So much to stop it from ever happening.
But now all he could do was stare at this mess he’d made.
He didn’t understand. He really didn’t. Arthur brushed Merlin’s bangs out of his pale face, and smiled at the soft sound he made in his sleep. He was beautiful. The most beautiful person he’d ever met. And he didn’t understand how this beautiful, kindhearted, honest, gorgeous creature, was with him. Was in his bed every night. Was his. Arthur brought his hand up, and traced Merlin’s face. His cheekbones, his eyes, his lips, until Merlin’s eyes fluttered open. “Hi,” Arthur smiled, brushing his cheek with a thumb. “Hello.” Merlin’s voice was thick with sleep, as he smiled up at him. And Arthur couldn’t help but stare. Stare at his bright, sleepy eyes, his rosy cheeks, his messy hair. Merlin moved closer, and pressed his face to Arthur’s neck. ”I can’t believe it,” he murmured against Arthur’s skin, and Arthur shivered. “Can’t believe what?” he asked, leaning down and placing a kiss to Merlin’s temple. “That you’re mine.”
